| Four Contributors to a Warm Dome Again, since the Dome will be so well insulated, the inside temps will not be immediately affected by any sudden plunge in the outside temperature. The Vent-i-Lite's vents will have insulated covers to prevent warm air from escaping. The Dome's inside cement walls are a thermal mass that will also prevent any sudden temperature changes. There will be a soapstone fireplace in the LR/DR area which can provide additional heat as needed - it will burn either gas or wood on demand. Some areas of the Dome will have radiant heating in their floors. |
